Hi all

How is this legal free. I purchased this and it was well worth it. Amiga promotion and media products dot need things like this killing the little profit the creators make.

Link removed due to bad content to other sites...

@g01df1sh

It is not legal to you, but it may very well be legal for others, copyright laws are not global.

And you are helping creators by posting link to target audience?

@Rose

Hi You have point about links. I would like to think most people who visit Amigaworld.com support the developers and would not use the link. I only put the link into to prove what is out there killing what little we have left of Amiga. To Mods please remove link if needed.

I remember reading that this movie was going to come on Netflix. But now I cannot find where I read that.

@g01df1sh

That Flenix site appears to be a scam. When I clicked on the link to "watch free" it took me to a page that wanted me to download and install an executable.

Have you heard of Flenix before this? There are sites out there that scrape data from sources such as Amazon, IMDB, etc. and generate front-end pages like this which redirect to malware downloads like I encountered. If you know Flenix is a legitimate service then maybe they just have a bad "contributor" or something.

@AmeegaGuy

I had that as if you close the page that opens and click play again it played for me.

@Hypex

It was a link to watch the commodore movie for free which I felt was bad for the developers and the community. Was just pointing it out hoping someone who developed the film would investigate... They most likely don't have the money to chase stuff like this and stop it.

Ah yes I think that one was also posted to my club Facebook group. Had to be removed. It is sad that even now the pirate mentality is sill dominant in the Amiga world. I kind of get the point that it isn't real unless it's in a box with hardware inside and this translates to mobiles where people just want all apps for free. But it really isn't much to buy this and support them. I recently made some purchases on AmiStore (once it was working) for some digital products. It felt strange to pay money but not have a physical product in hand. But it is also good, once you get used to it, as you save on the clutter of another box with manuals (as nice as that is) and as I did buy a top version for less as digital is discounted, misses out on shipping charges and can be downloaded soon after. Even if you have slowband it will no doubt be faster than delivery via snail mail. Unless you live near by the shop.
