Is it possibly to buy a new joystick that work for Commodore 64, Commodore 128, Amiga 500 etc. or is it the second hand market that is the way to go? From where can I order one?

@Andre4s

All C64 C128 and Amiga joysticks are basically based on the original Atari joystick.

This is the "best" source for Atari parts and accessories
http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/

In addition to AmigaKit there is the Competition pro joystick for sale here
https://shop.pixelwizard.eu/en/commodore-c64/34/competition-pro-retro?c=12

and here
https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/competition-pro-retro.html

And then various sellers on ebay have different joysticks like this
