That looks like a really fun event! I enjoyed the 360° tour on their site!
Thanks for sharing....

@A1200

Are they showing the CD1200 prototype?

@BigD

It looks like there is a video of someone showing it last year. Not sure if they are back again this year. I have never been but will go this year. If you look as an exhibitor to show of some old machine I believe you get in for free. As I only have a small collection nowadays I will attend as a punter this time as I don't want to travel around with any gear I can't do without.

Went to this event yesterday. It was a really good day out. The regular museum was open as well as many exhibitors bringing their collections to a special area for them. There was so many old machines from minicomputers to soviet clones of Sinclair machines.

Really nice to meet David Pleasance. A real gentleman who spoke to me and signed my book (I have read chapter 1 and very impressed so far). I also purchased the accompanying BluRay.

There were other traders there selling kits and suchlike that harked back to the golden age (late 70's/early 80s) of personal computers.

If you are ever around Cambridge UK please look the museum up link.

@A1200

I had been wanting to go to this event but I'm not mobile at the moment after breaking my hip, so missed it.

Any pics?

@BrianHoskins

I like pic of the SGIs! They used to have one Indigo and two Indys in the University computer lab when I was in school, lost in a sea of Sparc stations. One had to show up at late hours just to get on one -- they were in high demand.
