USB Mass Storage Error

I keep getting the following message when I plug in a USB flash drive:
Quote:

Unable to open USB Function driver

"massstorage.usbfd"

I've tried different flash drives, an external hard drive, etc. all the same. The drives are working fine on the laptop and PC and I've definitely used at least one with the AmigaONE before.

The system is an AmigaONE 500 with OS 4.1 + Enhancer.

I tried replacing the massstorage.usbfd file in the Kickstart drawer with an earlier version from a backup but get the same error message.

Help!

@dan.hutch

After a hard reboot USB storage devices are recognised again albeit with the older massstorage.usbfd file.

Version I copied from the backup was 53.37 and the one that was causing the problem was 53.83.
