Also, based on forum posts, AROS-Odyssey has audio and video synchronization issues on websites such as YouTube, for instance.

yes there seems to be issues, but considering pirus (?) reason not to share the sources you forwarded to me, it sounds like morphos has still problems there as well.

not that im entitled to judge that, as i dont have morphos dedicated machine and i dont really had time and motivation to set it up under sam440 emu so far.

And the vampire is the best at being amiga (and will be even better with the standalone).

best at being amiga is an amiga. however i dont deny that vampire might be a step in (overall) the right direction from there and even though i dont applaud just everything they do i applaud the project overall.

because it sounds like you might not have been following this, you can run aros on vampire and probably run most of your desired (amiga (m68k)) software you want to run with it. i dont have a vampire myself, only genuine amigas usually with p5 accels, so i cant really tell, so im basing it on videos i have seen.

Where is aros the best?

its open. its flexible. it carries amiga philosophy. its multi platform. so if an entity that delivers solutions to amiga(like) or an architecture dies (wholesale), it has the most chance to carry over.

Just so there are no misunderstandings, the issues you reference are only present in unreleased development versions with a few bleeding edge upgrades that have only been made available to internal testers specifically so they can find problems and help them get fixed for future public releases.

The version included with MorphOS 3.11 has no audio and video synchronization issues...

Please also note that I was merely responding to the absolute claim that AROS had the "best browser". I was not making any such claim myself.

@wawa

This is still being investigated. The exact cause is not known just yet.
