@mr2

One advantage of the Blackbird is that if Hyperion folds, at least one is left with a really nice Linux system. The Tabor, on the other hand, is *not* a really nice Linux system.

$500 worth of software and only 1 of 16 threads can be used in the low end 4 core POWER9. SMP is on the way though. "Obstacles to an efficient implementation were removed" already in 2011.

Don't worry, the people@Hyperion will not be "getting rich" from the software, probably because all the profits go into paying down existing debt.

@amigakit

Did you address the question as to whether the Prisma Megamix board allows the running of the Rapid Road USB from the onboard clock port in a big box Amiga? It is a simple question and I don't know why it isn't being addressed to be honest!? There is no point me buying them both on the assumption that this will work!

@number6

ok sorry...

BTW...where's Tabor?

Was already a slow system...and every day much slower...

AND however that power9 system with all that "addons" was cheaper than X1000/5000...

@Tuxedo

There is a bit more detail from Trevor at AmiWest:

Here

But since Trevor has not yet written his usual yearly AmiWest review on his blog, that's all I have to go on.

Apparently your "involvement" does not include informing the public, a "job" which you have clearly given over to Thomas.
I suggest if this is a Hyperion product, you do some public relations of your own here as regards the update sent to Hyperion almost a week ago.
Please show more respect for the developers.
