I can post all sorts of pictures and write all kinds of text but this one picture, for me, tells it all.

Amiwest is what you make of it. If you attend and don't say high to old and new friends, you don't attend seminars and ask questions, don't check out all the vendors and have them show off their goods, don't attend the banquet, don't attend the after show party, it could be boring.

I chose to make friends that will last a lifetime.

Looking forward to next year already!

TJ

Picture with Amiwest Friends!

Indeed, Santa now owns Amiga... as it should be.

@Skateman

PS:

I don't mean to highjack this thread, but there should be an AmiWest type of show/party/gathering located in the middle of Europe too.

Somewhere between The Netherlands and Czech Republic..

@Skateman

I believe Marko is expressing a wish, not hinting at any existing show.

I share his wish - although we have been blessed with some good shows in later years, such as Amiga30 and Amiga32 i Neuss.

But we don't have a show combined with a DevCon type of thing in Europe, which is a pity.

Best regards,

Niels

@nbache

Ahh..sorry i misunderstood.... and yes, it would be great if an event like AmiWest would be a bit closer to home.

I think when A-EON sold half a million Tabor boards through their Europe dealers, they could host an event like AmiWest

We are Amigans...we are the Dreamers of Dreams
