| I bought recently a Huawei B-315s-22 4G modem/router. The box seems to work, but I have not been able to access the settings page (192.168.8.1) of it with any Amiga browser I have tested.
Odyssey/OWB seems to reload eternally a package (358K) without being able to show anything on the screen. Netsurf tries to load something but stops very shortly, nothing on the screen. AWebPPC and iBrowse do not show anything, either...
Is there any solution to this issue...? Has anyone been able to use the menus succesfully with any Amiga browser? Huawei uses javascript, so you cannot just disable it from the browser settings.
BTW, in Linux, Firefox and Midori work ok with the settings menus of B-315, the latter one even without loading pictures.
Regards,

Some (mainly older) routers could be configured via telnet. |

Happened to me when AVM updated their firmware some year ago, now i'm unable to reach the routers settings with Odyssey.
Unless there is an updated browser version we are stuck.
If there is still a router out there that allows telnet access, throw it in the bin |

Thanks for the tip... Tested it with AmTelnet but no success. Access denied.

Have you tried Timberwolf? I've found some routers are picky and only work in Firefox. Though the web interface does load to an extent. |

I use Timberwolf so rarely that I had totally forgotten it's existence... It works!!! Thank you !-) I added it now to my WB menus.
Speaking of Timberwolf, I have not been able to figure how to get the Bookmark Toolbar to really show it's contents horizontally as it does in Firefox... Even if I have it marked in the 'view' menu, the items inside this directory are not shown, just one icon named 'Bookmarks' at rightmost side of the bar.
