| Even with the new version 1.4 of AmiCygnix I´m not able to open screen with picasso96clonewbdb settings (picasso96clonewb works fine, albeit slowly). When I try to run eg. AbiWord via picasso96clonewbdb, AmiCygnix reports selected screen mode is 1 bit (for 16 bit screens) or 2 bit (for 32 bit screens).
My configuration: WinUAE 4.0.0, 604e, 640 MB RAM, UAEGFX display driver (tried various RGB ARGB etc. configurations for both 16 and 32 bit screens) with 32 MB GFX RAM |

Sounds like a problem in WinUAE or the implementation of picasso96.
When do you get this message about the 1bit or 2 bit screen? When you launch "Start_AmiCygnix.bat"?
I'm afraid, there is nothing I can do until I have WinUAE + OS4 here, but I have no plans to do that, sorry. _________________ X-5000 PPC 5020/2 GHZ, Fractal Define XL R2-Tower, OS 4.1 final update 2, 4 GB, Radeon HD 7770, ESI Juli@ XTe SAM 460ex/1,15 GHZ, OS 4.1 final, 2 GB, Radeon HD 6450 Amiga 4000D/040 25 Mhz, OS 3.9 BB2, 272 MB, X-Surf, 250 MB ZIP |

You are right, seems to be WinUAE problem (or more precise UAEGFX GFX driver issue - I´m able to start via picasso96clonewbdb on emulated PicassoIV GFX card, well it is much slower than picasso96clonewb here). |
