Was just wanted to know if anyone has got one to work with radeon pci card and mediator mine just freeze and does wired stuff as soon as I try and enable the gfx card.

that's interesting I was thinking of getting a voodoo instead to try. What sort of speed do you get using the voodoo card?

I would suggest a Voodoo 3, since I have had issues the Radeon Graphics cards, both of the 64 and 128 MB variants (9250). Compatibility with the Voodoo3 is better, in my opinion.

Not to sure what you mean by speed out of the card remember that I am a noob

If you want I can send you the card to try out as I don't use amiga much to see if that fixes the problem and you get to see for yourself.

Good news

I have Voodoo 3 working now I need help with PicassoIV prefs. Currently I have a perfect 640 x 480 screen mode 256 colours. What are the correct setting for 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768. When I try to do it I only get half the test page. Any help would be great. Least now I know that the mediator is working and 3dfx voodoo 3 2000 is indeed compatiable with the mediator.

I did have lock up's to start with but im running OS3.1.4 and I was getting a message about 68030.library so I installed that and I was then able to run picasso prefs and get the 640 x 480 screen working. I am now wondering if I just needed the library for the Radeon card but now its working im not going to test the radeon. If others out there are having issues try installing the 68030.library from aminet mmulib

More progress I now have more screen modes i missed a step in picasso96 install i needed to set my monitors max frequency. I now have a 1024 x 768 workbench. Im now at the same stage I was about 10years ago when I stupidly sold my 060 A1200 tower with Zorro bus and PicassoIV. Only difference now is I have PCI and 030 with Voodoo 3 2000. Still miss the 060 wont be getting another any time soon lol

If you ever get an 060 again, you can run Workbench and other programs at 1920x1080 on the Voodoo 3 Like I do at 16- or 24 bit depth with very little slow down.
