I am interested in getting the vampire card for the Amiga 500 or 1200, but I need to get a machine first. I live in the greater Toronto area.

Does anyone know what price these machines can be expected to sell for or know any one I can contact to try and source one. I have already tried Kijiji, but no response :(

Emulation is no replacement for original hardware.

@A500

Hello there,

I don't know if this help, but ... I got my A1200 a few years ago on EBay. I believed I payed around 70 or 80Euros for that, but of course it was shipping from Italy to Italy.

It's probably worthy to scan european websites for what you are searching, since the Amiga was big here at least since 1995. Retrocomputing and comics fairs still have some hardware (eg the Amiga CD32) up to these days.

Best regards

@A500

According to the official information from the Apollo team, they will not sell (develop) the Vampire for the A1200 until they have the VampireV4 ready.

This can take at least 2 years.
