Was just wondering if users could post here saying what GFX cards they are using on there mediator bus boards. Im looking for a 3dfx pci card but 16mb version are either expensive or rare. Is anyone using 12 or 8mb cards ?

I have a Voodoo 5 in my Mediator and it has worked fine previously. Getting it up and running again after some years in hiatus, and Mediator sees the PCI card but P96 2.2 is not happy about it. Haven't got a picture on my VGA monitor yet, but working on it. :)
I believe with the latest pci.library you could use Radeon cards as well. Don't know how easy they are to get hold of though.
Good luck with your card hunting!

I would hold out for a Voodoo 3 with 16MB of memory (these were very popular cards). These are the cards with the best support and sometimes faster than the later cards. I use a Voodoo 4 also but it has little advantage over the Voodoo 3 with support for extra features often lacking.
There have been bugs in some of the drivers and the pci.library. Track down the latest versions (they are not always on the CD the Mediator came with but on the Elbox web site) and then try older versions and combinations too. Try different P96 driver tooltype settings and jumper settings on the board (my big box Amiga settings will likely not work for a 1200 Mediator).
P.S. Warp3D Voodoo support requires a 68040 for the big box Amigas. I made a patch to work with a 68020/68030+6888x but it doesn't work with 1200 Mediators so don't waste too much time trying.
