So a thought I had will os4 be easier to emulate when it’s ported to the a1222 chip, which has no fpu. Or will it be just as hard as the os I suppose is going to be doing fpu emulation of some sort to remain compatible. Just a thought that pop in my head.

I don’t know if qemu can emulate tabor cpu, it’s an exception due the absence of an fpu and presence of a spe at same time. If it is possible, you have only to virtualize the board and run bios and then load amigaos as on a real tabor.
The best solution should be to build a pegasos 2 qemu board and run it on a powermac in kvm mode.
With sam460ex qemu board we have a big issue running it in kvm mode because host cpu must be equal to guest cpu. So at this time without exception handlers, to manage not compatible instructions, we can’t use it on powermacs or other low cost ppc boards.
