    Cool !

Brief test show that snapshoting works now as should, and seems resizing of window now at least render fast main window borders. But there is still problem : the size of scrollbars (at lest vertical ones) most of time wrong. Try fro example draw something simple, then resize all to smal, move sliders, resize to big, move sliders ,resize somewhere else : bah, size of sliders calcualtes wrong. Another small resize, and then they calcualtes fine.

Yeah, it's overwriten Themes/KS/Presets/gui.prefs file from new 3.2 version which is guilty. In the Styles/Bitmap set, it have by default "Progaming:Projects/Sketchblock/distribution/Themes/KS/Presets/Bitmaps/

Changed that on "Work:SketchBlockPRO/Themes/KS/Presets/Bitmaps" and that fix it.

Thank you very much for this update, It's really appreciated!
I'll test it when I'll be back to home next week.
With the previous version, all "script" bit were missing on python files like convolution and the different image effects, resulting in an error in SketchBlock. Maybe something wrong with my installation or unpacking tool version.

Keep up the good work as usual! ;)

    Regards,
    Petrol.

The script bits are reset by AmiStore, the current version has an option missing from it's call to LHA, this has been fixed in the as yet unreleased beta of AmiStore. I think there are other things to test with that elaying it's distribution.

I had forgetten about this issue. It's not easy to fix as you can't use an assign as iPrefs is loaded so early. I guess the only solution will be to make it a theme stored on sys: and add an install scrip to put it there.

I don´t know if this has been asked already, but how do you make a freehand selection in Sketchblock? I can´t find that feature anywhere and I have searched. Without the possibility to make a freehand selection Sketchblock is pretty useless for most thing I intend to use it for.

Firstly a question, what do you intend to use it for? It's easier to give advice techniques if I know exactlly what you want to acheive.

There isn't a freehand selection tool. There are a couple of ways you might procede.

    1. Create a temporary layer. Paint over the are you want to select in the temp layer. Then use the colour select tool to select the painted areas and delete the temp layer.

    2. Create path and edit until the outline of the path matches the area you want to selecet and use the path to select menu item to create the selection mask.

That is a smart way to do it I tried something similar when I tested Sketchblock yesterday but it didn't give the result I was after. I use freehand a lot in other editors (for example GIMP). I use it to select areas of, for example, an icon that I don't want to keep and then erase the selected part.

Ability to easy select some area of the layer on which you works, and then just move / delete / resize selected area (on the same layers), are really big miss. If it can be implemented as main tool (like paint, erase, etc), then it can be very nice. At moment i doing it via rectangle select, then pressing space, and then via "earse" tool manually delete area which was selected. But if it possible to just select area, and press "del", to delete it, that will help

If you open for feature requests, then having fun with sketchblock with my son for few days, have some suggestions:

1). color wheel. That reaction based color wheel suck hard. Too small, to hard to pick necessary color in fast way. Yes, there is "advanced color selection", but it all on sliders, so you can't just pick color you need in fast way, like just pure RED right now.

2). brushes size selection (edit brush attributes). It is "+ -" now, which is also not a fast way to choice. Can be cool if there will be sliders, and you can see in realtime real size of the choice brush. I.e. you let's say choice "PinMan" brush, choice "edit brush attributes", and there can be sliders , not just + -, and at bottom of window realtime look of the choice size. So you can know how it will looks.

    @broadblues

    1) People say they want freehand selection (or whatever).
    2) You say the price for which you'll implement that feature.
    3) People make individual contributions to collect the sum.
    4) You implement the feature and get paid.
    5) Everyone's happy.

Or introduce paid updates in which you add the features people want. Charging for software once and then delivering free updates for several years is not a viable business model for OS4. My usual Friday night in the pub is about 15-20 pounds. Surely I can pay a similar price for software updates once in a while.
