My AmigaOne 500 has the latest version of system software (as far as I know). It has a Radeon R9 270 graphics card. That's my hardware. When I download any file (bigger than 100000 bytes), it downloads a little over 100,000 bytes and then says it failed at that point. Then I click on the file to start downloading it again and click the "resume" button and it downloads the rest of the file. This is actually a minor inconvenience but I wonder what's going on.

Hi,

The only thing related to web that has been updated lately is AmiSSL. It could be the culprit! Or an old Odyssey's bug, previously unactiveed.
Os4depot download aren't SSL enabled, as some the sites. Is download over a SSL connexion works as it should?

Regards,
Petrol

@petrol

Odyssey didn't use AmiSSL. I choice to not use it for port becuase waiting for new amissl can take years and instead i go route to use statically builded openssl inside of odyssey binary, which i can update at any time if there is real needs.

To add, as i read on amigans.net thread, the same bug happens with Netsurf too.

It seems something changes on os4depot's server. Or another hosting, or some new settings on server's side, dunno.

@kas1e

Ok, thanks for the reply.
Last week, I've also experienced some download problem with Odyssey, and not only on os4depot.net. I didn't test further and thought it was because my mac dowloaded an update at the same time and occupied all the bandwith.

Could it shares some components with AmiSSL that could had caused a conflict?

Regards,
