@Plexus

EGA-like graphics? Quite an unusual choice of colours for an Amiga game.

@pavlor

EGA?

Ahhahah!

It looks like a real sprite. But why is there snowy corruption on screen? And the scrolling is jerky.

Hmm. WIP I take it. On the X5000.

@HenryCase
Yes this game is for People who like old style arcade platform feelings

Yes the game will have classic old style graphics and will be released later for MorphOS, windows10 and AmigaOS4.1.

and yes there is tons of possibilities for tweaking for softer scroll etc.
as I wrote it is a beta demo at the moment

@Plexus

Great work! I enjoy games like these.

Simple to get started and easy to play.

You don't die immediately and can quickly escalate through the scenes.

Nicely done!

@Plexus

As well as an EGA version do you plan an AGA version with extra colours?

Seriously though looks interesting.

I like stuff like this.
Working within restrictions can be fun, and adds a certain charm/character to a game.

Are you working within set restrictions here (actual ega palette maybe?), or just trying to recreate a certain look?

Also, no-one else mentioned it, and it'll sound strange if Im wrong, but are some of those samples from a game that's only on Amiga, 68k Mac, Apple 2GS, and Sega Megadrive/Genesis? (thought I'd ask this was instead of giving it away incase you'd prefer it not be advertised).

I played a lot of that game when it was 1st released on the Amiga back in the day, and some of the sounds were instantly familiar.

@fishy_fis

Yes Thats right, Im creating a certain look for this type of games and have nothing todo with ega or cga gfx todo. And music in this YT clip you hear in background is streamed accidently from Slayradio and have nothing todo with games itself.

But its very fun to see this game evolving, I take help from my 23 years old Son for game engine, its way too complex for me todo all alone
The Game itself will contain much of humor and The goal is to make the game fun and enjoyable for all who loves 80s platform games and ofcourse to learn how to use hollywood.
In fact i put so much time to this is:

(Im bored with all hyper modern ala Fps shooter games and with too over good looking gfx games flooded the market...)

This game we developing now is much of inspired from c64 snoopy game mixed with c64 Pitfall etc..
The goal is Simple collect Gold nuggets and Keys.

Demo version:
http://www.os4depot.net/download.php?file=queue/sture.lha

PLZ try it on SAM 460 or SAM440ep & A1222, X1000
Report on my email if to slow on this machines or another problem, I only had a chance to try myself on X5000 and PCs
