Unable to open 'https://amigaworld.net//'
A certificates.

Hi mate, how are you?

Yes they have let the site certificate lapse. Happens to the best of us, a quick job to reinstate it.

@sicky

The certificate for amigaworld.net has expired. Somebody from A-EON has forgotten to renew the certificate :(

I just tried accessing it via firefox and got the following.

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to amigaworld.net. The web site is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the web site’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

Your computer clock is set to 26/05/2019. Make sure your computer is set to the correct date, time, and time zone in your system settings, and then refresh amigaworld.net.

If your clock is already set to the right time, the web site is likely misconfigured, and there is nothing you can do to resolve the issue. You can notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.

Can still access site if you use the advance option and ignor the warning.

@sicky

Yes three new threads. Looks like you can access it fine. Ha.

I also added this problem as a website bug to the dedicated thread.
