Good luck and please report back.

I could test the module from the vendor on ebay linked above some days ago. Firstly the module fits exactly within the socket and the CPU module: there is a gap of around 0.2 mm between the memory module and the CPU module (with a 750GX CPU).
Secondly I didn't receive exactly the same module as shown on the ebay side (with Infineon SDRAM, 5 ICs in a row on top and 4 on the bottom and the mounting stab on the left). Instead it came with Samsung SDRAM and with only 4 ICs in a row on each side and one IC near the socket on the bottom.
Unfortunately this module didn't work well. While U-Boot was still working, booting AmigaOS4 or Linux immediately crashed the machine.

Anyway, I found the same SODIMM on Amazon from Komputerbay for 20€, which I received yesterday. It also fits perfectly and has almost completed 5 memtester runs over 940MB now without any problems under Linux (usually Linux is even more picky about memory modules than AmigaOS4)!

So be sure to get the right SODIMM (it should look exactly like this one), if you want to upgrade the memory of your uA1.
