@number6

I wonder was ever the "Amga enabled" brand used? Or was just registered just in case.
However, I do remember the "Powered by Amiga" stickers. I'm not sure how popular this where or there ever was hardware vendor who used it.

Way is www.trademarkia.com listing many of trademarks Clanto claims to own as dead or abandoned?

https://www.trademarkia.com/company-amiga-inc-72446-page-1-0

Is this because the trademarks are being disputed?
or because Clanto has failed to provide documentation of the usage of the copyrighted logos and brand names?

I think that may have been for smart phones and other devices that shipped with Amiga Anywhere so my assumption is that it was never used.

Micronik used it on their A1200 tower cases as well as on an external scandoubler. Aside from CU Amiga giving free stickers with one of their issues I don't recall any other vendor using the brand.

You'll do better here:

https://www.uspto.gov/trademark

note different places to search for trademark, get status, tiral and appeal, assignments, etc.

For Europe use:

https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/

Costel Mincea no longer listed as board member (formerly director)

For the record Costel has been straight forward about his change in role here, so this is just official confirmation.

@OlafS25

The post has the link.

Formerly the official site (which this IS) listed Costel Mincea as director and later as board member.

Ben stating the link is the official site

Reading that out loud, it sounds like some ancient cursed summoning ritual straight from Lovecraft lore.

VERY FITTING.

We should all ignore Cloanto that is what we should do. This nonsense has gone on for too long, first with Amiga Inc and Hagge and Partner and then with Amiga Inc and Hyperion, and now Clanto and Hyperion.

I purchased Cloanto's AmigaForever 2010, 2016, 2018 R3, and EEPROM Kickstart 3.X (A1200).

I'm not ignoring Cloanto when they serve my primary Windows 10 PC interest.

I also purchased Hyperion's Amiga OS4.1 FE for Classic (WinUAE's PPC classic config) and Kickstart 3.1.4 ROM (A1200).

I expressed an interest in Vampire 68K.

Well at least that’s one thing we can be sure about, what will happen to Vampire project, what happen to all other projects once Clanto starts collecting fees, for the use of ROM and brand names.

There are also few competitor in emulation market that I'm sure Clanto wont get there claws into like "Classic WB", "AmiKit", and a number of others.

I'm sure he want to protect his assets. was it not sated somewhere that you had to protect your brand or else you risk losing it, and Clanto has invested a lot in brand names.

So it really time to bring out the popcorn.

Commonly used words like Workbench and (Spanish word) Amiga should not have been copyrighted in the first place. The people who own the copyrights are granted monopoly in market that is not what is was in 1994.

FYI, Cloanto's Amiga Forever software package has Amikit (pre-configured Amiga OS build) bundled in. What are you talking about?

@TRIPOS

Since you are one of the very few interested in data on accounts and what they might indicate, I offer Hyperion's 2019 filing, which appeared this morning:

Timothy de Groote removed from filing as director

Ben Herman now listed as "Permanent Representative"

As I mentioned prior this is the official listing as cited by Ben Hermans for the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises.

slightly more detail
