Good point, I'll give 'em a couple of days to respond first though. |

And my advice is: don't contact Trevor because he does not handle AmiStore problems. Instead, give AmigaKit a call and ask for Matthew. Calling the office will likely be the fastest way to get your issues sorted.

| Just going to repeat what worked for me;
Private message Matthew on amiga.org.
He has been very responsive there in the past. Its been a while since I had the need to message him, and it was pre-change the new forum layout, but he seems to read the forum more or less daily. |

Pretty much a dead issue right now, no one can figure out why it doesn't work. Rob |

| Sorted it out, didn't notice the ? icon, and reset the password.

Not quite sure how it changed, but looks like a lot of the problem was between chair and computer. (me)
Now I need to work out how to get my old log in for Hyperion Entertainment so I can register 3.4.1 on the same account as my other registered software.

here at AmiWest 2019, Trevor and I helped another X5000 owner with what appears to be similar.
We worked out, he had not setup his Odyssey to use the Amistore.
There's a web site (link) that tells you how-to.
http://www.amistore.net/checkout_compatible_browser.php
Hope this helps!

| It's frustrating that you can only change your password through the AMIStore app and can't do it at all through the website despite being able to create accounts via the web. Unfortunately the AmiSphere site lets you create accounts with an email including a + sign (which I do to more easily bucket everything in Outlook) but the "forgetten password" requester doesn't allow entering a + into the email address input so I'm unable to get a new password created.
I guess I have to wait for the Amiga.org forum admins to approve my account so I can reach out to Matthew for help. |
