Stumbled this morning upon this news about Kung Fu Master being ported to Amiga

Link

The conversion seems to directly use original game GFX and SFX assets, so it should result in a 1:1 conversion.

Let's hope for the best, it was one of my all time favourite Arcade games, it would be nice to replay it on Amiga

I have not really played that game, if you rip the graphics and music; it does not necessarily make game play the same. if engine is not made by same people, the developer might decide to improve on original, or he might not know how do something so the game ends up being a bit worse.

If how he has original code program, and its written in language that not too complicated to read he can convert game line by line. to make a game that is a 1:1 conversion, more likely it be slightly different.

@NutsAboutAmiga

Yes, of course there is more than GFX assets to make the game being a 1:1 port.
But this is a good starting point
