I have to give you props for bringing some fun to aw.net. You are the only reason to check into the umpteenth "Future direction for Amiga" thread

Friend BSzili,

I thank you from the deepest of my heart and I look forward to pour more of my seasoned veteran wisdom on Amigaworld.net

But make no mistake! I am not here for either mine or anyone else's fun!
My goals go well beyond that, the tapestry of my intentions will be unravelled slowly through my actions, and any entertainment along the way is purely of incidental nature.

Thanks for your attention,
MEGA_RJ_MICAL

From time to time I submit my news here on Amigaworld.net. The approval process used to take hours... sometimes a day. However, in last year or two, the things have changed a lot. Now the news post is approved days or even weeks after its submission. It's VERY frustrating. My current news item is pending for 4 days now. My previous submission was pending for 2 weeks...

Imagine your Merry Christmas wish appears here in January next year... Or even worse - imagine someone's Weekend/Easter/BlackFriday/Christmas sale appears here after the sale is finished. That's annoying and makes you think twice before posting here at all. As a result, the website will get even less and less news submissions...

Very true.

I submitted a news item yesterday. Amigans.net and amiga.org published it within hours. Still waiting here...

To make matters worse, I've noticed that news tends to only spread to non-English Amiga news portals after it's been posted here. So AW.net is still the primary AmigaOS 4 news source for many, despite it being slow in publishing.

I keep using this forum, as amiga.org gotten nice face lift, it does allow me correct my spelling errors after x number of minutes (or maybe editing gets blocked when someone has replied to my post). I often don’t notice my mistakes as I’m dyslectic.

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

That too, and that has nothing to do with it, sure there few people who just can’t learn talk proper English or us English, with today’s exposure to movies I’m pretty sure it’s a thing of the past. Solberg / Stoltenberg English. What I find funny is when I listen to Americans using Norwegian words without knowing it (of cause some word can be similar to words used in germen / Nederland’s as well).
