I'm having trouble running Blender on my X5000. I had the same trouble with my A1-500. It does run on my micro. The problem appears to be libpng. It could be trying to load the splash screen graphic. The header is invalid and the height and depth are messed up. When it tries to allocate memory it crashes.

This is what you see in the output window:

Blender is here Documents:blender_dist_20161127/bldyn

@thinkchip

In x5000 distrib there is a mistake, and libpng12.so just named as it, but in reality its libpng16.so (check inside of library on the version, or even compare the size of libpng12.so and libpng16.so). So you need real libpng12.so, which you can take or from os4.1_update2 for example. I also upload it here: http://kas1e.mikendezign.com/aos4/cyrus/libpng12.so
