Amazingly well done. I sure wish I (we) had such devotion to detail back in the early 90s. The delivery suits you well.

@10MARC

Great episode again, what black LCD monitor are you using in this episode?

@10MARC

Ive been watching the last couple of episodes, and you have the perfect delivery and presentation of the topic you deal with. Great stuff!

On the last video;

I see that Amigakit has added ImageFX to its download/purchase server.

I noticed you said you prefer Art Department Pro for the picture processing you did, and since Amigakit seems to be somewhat active, could I ask you to comment about what features are missing in ImageFX to get it to ArtDep levels for the use case you provided?

The reason why I ask; I love the idea of supporting active developments in the Amiga community, and after getting my V4 I will gradually add useful programs to my AROS distro.

This week on 10MARC, I am doing a review and tutorial on the "New" ImageFX 4.5 from our friends at A-eon and Amigakit. Join me as I cover installing, some photo editing and butchering one of Vicky (Pixel Vixens) awesome drawings!
This great software works on most Amiga's with at least 4MB of RAM, but really shines with AGA or RTG graphics. Stop by and tell your friends!

Great episode, but you missed one part of ImageFX history. It did not begin as a development of NOVA design. ImageFX began as one of GVP's first software ventures.

This week on 10MARC I am covering some of the many USB peripherals we can use on our Amiga computers. If you have a USB enabled Amiga, you can do more than just use a USB mouse, keyboard and flash drive. Join me as I experiment with a few interesting things we can do (or try to do) with USB on the Commodore Amiga.

This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast I am reviewing 5 different LCD monitors that work with our 15Khz RGB port on the Amiga. My test machine is an AGA Amiga 1200, and I will be covering various Amiga resolutions, and quite importantly, how they work with games.

@Overflow

Sorry I missed this question. I love the new ImageFX as you can see from my review the other week. It is perfect if you have an RTG card or AGA as the preview screen is very nice. That is something AdPro lacks.
I am quite used to AdPro, and I think it deals with generating Amiga screens much better, as you can specify overscan and your color modes MUCH easier than ImageFX. You can do the same thing in ImageFX, it is just far less logical how to get there.
I also like AdPro on my ECS machines, as it is a quick way to get great renderings of images since it holds them in FAST RAM. For example, I can easily display a 732 x 480 Overscan 16 color image in AdPro on my A1000 with 512KB CHIP and 8 MB FAST. But try to open that same image in Deluxepaint? Out of memory...
I love them both, really.

A great in depth look at ImageFX which makes want to buy a copy! I've used Photogenics 5 for manipulating, resizing and converting JPEGS for wider use with DPaint V / TurboPrint 7's Graphics Publisher but it looks like ImageFX is far more adapted to the task! Nice job!

This week on 10MARC I am reviewing (and helping you install) the awesome new AGABlaster software from Markus Shordan. This allows you to take modern video files and convert the to beautiful full motion 25 FPS AGA videos with synchronized audio. You really have to see the quality to believe it!

@firestone

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it!

This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast I am reviewing and doing a tutorial on the setup of the awesome new UnAmiga FPGA header for our A500 or Checkmate 1500 case. Edu Arana did a great job! Come take a look!
