I recently found my old A500 and 1200 and would like to fire them up. I thought it best to check the A600 psu I have however, and my multimeter reports the following voltages. 5.16v -14.5v 11.78v
Given that the center pin should be -12v, would people agree that -14.5v is too high now and therefore not safe to power the machines? I don't know enough (though I'm learning all the time!) about electronics to make a call on this myself. I think I've seen in the past people say that there's a certain amount of wiggle room in safe voltages, hence why I thought I'd run it past any knowledgable people here.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
