It seems that file requester has changed and new one i s not very informative.

I'm not sure when this has happened but I really would like to get old one back. It needs to have buttons with a texts and specially I want "Volumes" button back and I really don't want to see button like "/", ":", or "

@utri007

Maybe you have choosed to install the MUI based ASL requester patch?
If so you can disable it from the user-startup.

@utri007
I think smf might be right because I never installed that patch on my system and OS4FE file requesters have a "Volume" button.

Well, it was, in fact, just not an OS update, but a MUI update.

I had forgotten about that one, although I now remember being annoyed and having to disable it myself back when that MUI update was installed.

Best regards,

Niels

Did't it ask something like patch asl? Requester is awfull, I can't imagine why someone would like to have it.

@utri007

I actually don't remember, it's long ago.

If it did, I might have accepted in the belief that it would be an improvement, or at least to check if it was.

I always have a backup to fall back to for such cases. Of course, in this case, it was enough to disable the patch.

Best regards,

Niels

Yes the installer will ask you about installing the patch.

I kind of think about it as an enhancement over the standard asl.
But have not found a way to save the size of the window yet and i think the window size is too small so i often have to resize it. (i have not tried very hard to save the size eighter)
