Hi,

finally I completed the refurbishment of my A1200 upgrading it to an SD hard drive.
I used this device.

https://rastport.com/products/KA60/

I got a plain installation of OS3.9+BB. I have cacheCDFS in L and CD0 in devs/dosdrivers. Now if I connect an hard drive it works without problems (in fact I've been able to transfer all my stuffs from my old HD), but connecting a CD driver doesn't work. I tested a bunch of cd/DVD readers always with the same result. The CD spin, once a CD in loaded in, for few seconds, as it should, but no icon on the WB.

Any suggestt?

thanks

@ilbarbax

Check the "UNIT" of CD0, either the tooltype of the icon, or inside the file, if it says "0", try changing it to "1" - this presumes the hard drive is master and CD drive is slave. Also, CacheCDFS has a prefs program you should install...

@kolla

Fixed ... thanks for advances that put myself on the right path.
I compared my old HD installation discovering the file cd.device or resource, I don't remember, was missing. Added it it started working
