The biggest threat is doing nothing!
AMOS binary’s yes sure annoying, if they do not wont share source code it’s their choice.
Hollywood binaries, sure they most likely not going to make best applications, but if make some useful for yourself, and some one else enjoys it way not. Its more likely you have success if you wont earn many of you can sell your XXX to X,Y,Z then to just X.
SDL “Ports” recompiled for AmigaOS without converting all graphic to different format and changing 50% of the game. Speeding a year on making the perfect port to Amiga without being paid for it. Yes what a shame no one wonts to do that.

New differences between Hyperion and Aeon over AmigaOS3.x creating incompatibility and another split of the Amiga community.
BTW.:
