does it typically take a week or more for AmigaKit to acknowledge an order? I placed an order about 6 days ago and it just says 'pending'.

TIA

@cc3d

It depends if they're assembling / making it to order. They are normally fast but sometimes ticket acknowledgements are delayed probably because they're actually doing stuff rather than acknowledging that they're doing stuff

@cc3d

They can miss orders if they are busy. Recently I waited (in vain) for a good few days, then sent in another order, and that's when they picked up on both.

@amigat

Wow! I am pretty sure they've already charged you (and I). I'll cancel if I get no response soon.

@cc3d

I have had good dealings with them.
I usually get what I ordered in about 2 weeks.
So, I have ordered some items lately.
I do not know if they fall into the assemble it and ship it category.

edit:

I did try to buy a magazine that had the triple stars and I think it is a 50 % chance they will have it.

You can email them, PM them on here or FB message them too - they will get back to you or just expedite your delivery.

@cc3d

I have never had any issues with orders from AmigaKit. As mentioned by others, best to contact them via email or pm.

@redfox

I did contact them a few times over the 10 days and never heard back. Then the order changed from PENDING to SHIPPED. I am sure they do a good job. Communication is sketchy, but these are strange times.

thanks to all for feedback.

@cc3d

I just ordered an X5000 mb. They acknowledged it the next day. Had an issue with my address (FedEx doesn't like having a PO Box in the address.) They answered the phone when I called them twice, and have the order on its way to the US now, and got my emails with the address correction.

@cc3d

I placed an order with AmigaKit in September last year and I am still waiting for one of the items. The website still shows it as pending.

I've e-mailed AmigaKit a few times since then to find out what is happening, but I've never been able to get a response.

I sent them here a PM several weeks ago, asking some info about an expensive product I planned to buy from them but still no answer... AmigaKit's profile shows they logged in 22-jun-2020, so they have seen my message.
