I just uploaded this 2 player western game to aminet, for all amiga flavours.
It is inspired by an old console game I played many years ago, so consider this an attempt to create an enhanced version of that.

The game is made with Hollywood, so the OS3 version will be slow for many setups. In the readme I did write that an accellerated amiga was recommended, but perhaps I should have stated 040/40+ recommended.

Also, my drawing talents are limited, but I made a few themes with different graphics for the game. One of these can be found in the custom imagas drawer. It would be cool if anywone wants to create their own custom graphics and share with others.

Anyway, I would be happy to get some feedback on this game, like
- Does the joystick detection work correctly on all systems?
- What is the lowest spec setup this thing is playable on?

@amyren Do you use Palanarama or is it for WinUAE or P96 only?

@LarsB
I have not used Plananarama. I did try breifly on a winuae setup, but couldnt make it work.
But if you want to try I think it should be possible to enable it just by setting it in the icon tooltype, like
REQUIREPLUGINS=Plananarama
offcourse you will need to get the plananarama.hwp from the hollywood-mal download page.

@amyren I also didnt use it in my Programs. But on Amiga-News.de I read that you need the guigfx.library and the render.library. The rendet lib should be version 30.0 or 32.0 which is new at Aminet. The 40.x does crash.

The pictures look nice. The classic remembers me to the good old arcade times. I almost could smell the arcade maschines.

@amyren

Thank you for making the game. I'm looking forward to playing it with my son.

I'm on an X5000 with AmigaOS 4 and it is not detecting my joysticks correctly. How can I help you with that?

Cheers,
Bill "tekmage" Borsari

Ok, so is it that number of joysticks reported as one less than you have connected?

The reason for this was discussed on the hollywood forum, and I got the following explanation from the deveoper:
"The problem is that lowlevel.library always seems to report the presence of a joystick no matter if one is connected or not and there is no real way for Hollywood to do some better diagnosis here."

The solution was to reduce the number of joysticks reported by 1. This worked for classic amiga systems and for MorphOS. But perhaps OS4 will act differently.

If this is the issue for you, I can fix it without to much work.

@Templario Interesting. Legendary screne. The song ecstasy of gold is great. I was wondered what effort was taken to perform it.

And the magic from movies, convert one field in the north of Spain in one cementery of USA or CSA armies.

@amyren

Works great on MorphOS 3.14. Tested with Joysticks and keyboard. No performance issue at all, very smooth. loled many times with the catch phrases of the gun men :)

@Cool_amigaN
Thanks for the feedback 😀

@all
I'd like to hear from anyone that have tested this on other systems as well, Vampire, OS4, Arosx86 and OS3.
Also I am curious to know more about that joystick issue tekimage mentioned.
