We need your help, what are your favorite Amiga Platform games?

| Now that the graphics are complete we need your help. What are your favorite platform games on Amiga? We are busy architecting the gameplay of our new platform game and want to get it right. We have been playing a lot of old Amiga platform games like Shadow of the Beast 1-3, Magic Pockets, Gods, McDonaldland and even ones we have never heard of before like Sword & WolfChild.

Zool, Another world and Turrican - different physics/speed of play but these I remember playing and enjoying and I am not one for games so must have been pretty good. _________________

| @DiscreetFX: From the screenshots your game looks more like a fighting-game than a platform game. Graphic looks good, but there isn't much to see by now, only static pictures.
There are tons of good platform games on Amiga and I don't see how it will help your game If we tell you or favorite Amiga platform games. Just do your thing and take care of good game physics, smooth animation, balanced levels and good game control.

Yes, we are considering doing a fighting game and a platform game. It's really, wherever the pixels take us. We are playing a lot of the best platform games on the Amiga to get the game mechanics and playability on our game just right. We want to release a great game that’s fun to play.

Yes, I really liked the graphics in Another World, and the checkpoint system was nice.

Gods (multiple weapons, shop, inventory) and Odyssey (various player states eg. bird, bug etc. to solve puzzles, save game option). |
