I have a Microbiotics 8up memory card and cannot figure out the jumper settings.

Ive seen several very confusing charts.

I have 2 sticks of 8 256k chips and 4 sticks of 8 512k chips.

I can get the computer to boot and "avail" sees the extra memory but some programs like Opus will freeze.

Other settings give a red screen with a chart

Status OK, OK, Bad
Manufacturer 1010,1010,1010
Product 158,3,4 or 158,0,0

I dont know if I have a bad card, bad memory, or wrong configuration.

Any ideas?

@AmigaSource

Thanks!
I have seen that . Looks like they have added the pic of the SIMM version since my last visit about 2 weeks ago.
Im assuming (bad idea?) the chart refers to both versions?

Anyway, I believe I have finally figured out that chart and will try again.
I need to check and see if the current user guide is the same one I printed 2 weeks ago.
I still have the original disk with the memory test and a few text files.

@tommywiz

I may still have a Microbotics 8up manual somewhere. Send me a PM if you want it.

@tommywiz

Your welcome. Personally I'm not familiar with them.
