| Hey, im new to amiga scene and ordered video connector from local craigslist, the seller swore that this is original db23-connector? does it seem to you guys (the metal that surround the connector is cut) never seen original connector that is cut :D?

Never saw something like this. They probably used standard 25pin versions and cut them to fit the more unusual 23pin layout.
However it does not matter function wise. When it is stable and the metal has a proper connection, then it should be ok.

| Yeah, pretty much all video cables you buy from Amiga shops these days have 25-pin connector cut to 23-pin, because real 23-pin connectors just aren't available anywhere anymore.
