Opening a 1084S-P case?

Hi everyone.

I've decided to get round to fixing the broken power switch on this monitor but have been foiled at the first stage! After removing the 4 screws and pulling on the rear case part I seem to be taking the rear connectors circuit board with me as I go. Is this normal? I presume it isn't and the plastic case should just pull off, leaving everything else in place. I've tried pushing the connectors whilst pulling the case but they don't want to become separated.

Rather than just charge in and do anything rash, I thought I'd ask here if anyone know the correct procedure for opening up this monitor? I've checked online but no-one seems to document the actual opening of the case. There's other 1084S monitor videos which do, but not the P variant.

I'm also aware that the side speakers seem attached to the sides, do they have to be disconnected somehow before removing the case too?

Any advice much appreciated.

@gizmo1990

I would watch the YouTube videos where people pull them apart. Looks like the PCB does move about but the connections stop it at some point of travel. Not the clearest but here and here show how it slides and it's resting position.

@A1200
Thanks a lot for your reply. That first video looked like it would solve all my problems, but he cuts it right at the important part! Gah!

I've had another go and the rear casing just does not want to budge without taking the circuit board with it too. And I don't want to exert too much pressure for fear of ripping something.

Does anyone know anymore? Can't believe I'm stuck at this stage!

Sorted it! There was a tiny extra screw beside the av connectors holding the circuit board to the casing!
