If you're a crazy Amiga collector or just has very deep pockets, then the A3400 might be the right thing for you:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174824383684

The starting price is high - but what's the going rate for rare Amiga prototypes? Let's see if it sells.

@JeanF

I wouldn't have thought it's that valuable other than for the #7 on the serial label! Maybe if it was #1 and it was a black C= Amiga 4000T!

I mean we've found Team17 machines and A4000s used on Titanic now (thank you Perifractic). Surely THOSE machines are far more valuable than a prototype with likely undocumented hardware bugs!

@JeanF

Wow. It's basically an A4000D with a different front plate.

Would still be a great machine to own. I hope it goes to a good home and whoever is lucky enough to get it does some videos of it.

A great history piece.

It's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay!

I have an Amiga 4000T motherboard with yellow silkscreen and a hand written label identifying it as serial #2 which I bought off E-bay years ago in a later beige Amiga Technologies case.

4000T hand written label Quote:

1-10-94
SER.NO. 2

CBM declared bankruptcy on April 29, 1994. Is it more valuable than a 4000 with a black face?

@JeanF

I found the CPU card quite interesting, having both a 68020 and 68030 with 68882 on board and an empty square for an 040.

@PhantomInterrogative

The empty space will be for a PGA-style FPU, not the 040. That footprint is quite a bit larger.

@PhantomInterrogative

Well spotted! I would guess that the A3200 would be the 020 edition (judging by the number on the board) but this system could clearly become one or the other.

@-Sam-

Now THIS A1000 prototype looks far more interesting and actually came with more ram than the production models! Chicken lips logo on the keyboard rather than Amiga keys and other interesting differences for early developers!
