Dear All,

I did not see this information anywhere else besides HOL and EAB so it is with great sadness that Paul van der Valk, the great composer of Hybris music passed away on August the 12th 2021 at the age of 58 !
http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?N_ref_artist=1472

Paul you will be remembered, each time I am hearing this fabulous music in this excellent arcade Amiga-only game, thank you so much for the joy it brought me and RIP.

We have lost Edgar M. Vigdal of Deluxe Galaga and now Paul van der Valk - for the Hybris music and Turbo Imploder if you peeps remember that cruncher
I'm really saddened by this
R.I.P - Paul van der Valk I really like these soundtracks

@lionstorm

That's sad. He was still fairly young.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I can still remember loading Imploder 4.0 just to listen to the song. Crazy to look back and say a disk copier program had better music than actual MODs that people took the time to create. Good luck explaining that to kids today. What exciting times we experienced
