Hydrogen is not the best idea for cars, battery tech has got there, but for boats, shipping containers, larger vehicles like buses and trucks it might make sense to switch to this. It’s shame that oil, gas and coal can’t be phased out quicker, I think very long term the world will likely regret it, if if you believe climate change is not real, there are many health befits moving to renewable alone that we should be doing it really, plus cost, I think wind turbine is now the lowest way to produce electricity, battery and solar costs have massively dropped in price and tech has gotten better. So the whole it going to cost us more to do this, is starting to fail as an argument too.
