And a new SDK!

This update includes GCC 11 and numerous enhancement to already available compilers, GG components and debugging tools. We've included link libraries enabling the use of a new, shared openssl3.library. Additionally, GCC4 and GCC7 have been dropped and are no longer supported.

Really nice update. Update installation the usual procedure of about 10 minutes: downloading the iso, mount the iso, copy new boot.img, boot from OF via iso file on hd and update. Reboot. Enjoy!
And the system got even more polished, Iris and Wayfarer updated. The system is even more polished. Nice and well done!

@Zylesea

MOS is MEGA_RJ_MICAL's preferred next generation Amiga since it will run his custom Amiga Racer tracks the fastest.

@AmigaOldskooler

Nice update! I also like that they've made it possible to run both AOS 4 and MOS on the same hardware because both have strong roots in what was and is the Amiga.

Sadly I can only run MOS on the powermac but it works so well!

Iris is great but Wayfarer, allthough I love it, would be perfect with JIT for javascript. Running the version of OWB with support for it is such a speedboost that it's enjoyable to use it.

With that said, wayfarer seem to be a bit faster though and youtube seems to work better.

All in all, it's a very nice experience.

I miss being able to extract files with DOpus 4 (or magellan for that matter) the same way that I did in AOS 4, by doubleclicking the archive to look inside it and choose what files to extract. Maybe you can set it up, haven't looked that carefully and most files can be extracted from the desktop so not a big deal, just something that I've gotten used to.

Not entirely sure what you mean by extract files.
Double click on any archive on Ambient open the archive as it would be a normal drawer/lister as in Magellan?

@Develin

And I wrote that I'm doing that.

I also wrote that I am more used to using DOpus 4 for the task.

Finally I wrote that it's ok as is too.

Nice of you posting a huge picture but do I really need that from someone who can't read?

You don't understand what I write but you feel the need to give an answer anyway. Alright then.

You miss the way you where able to extract files with Dopus4 or Magellan you write.
I show you a lister how it works in Ambient since it sounded that you where not able to open archive that way which is exactly how DOpus4 handles the files.

or do you mean the way OS4 opens Unarc when you click on a file in Workbench ?
Quiet the opposite of how DOpus does it...
So what you considered a vague answer comes from a vague statement earlier on from your self.

Don't know why that upset you to write 3 answer really...

If you like DOpus4 or Magellan way you can always use those tools instead of Ambient.

Regarding Magellan...

DOpus' ArcDir doesn't work that well on MorphOS (at least it used to have issues, but I haven't tried it in a long time), but you can replace it with the XADopus module to be able to browse and extract from archives.

Here's a guide how to config it:
https://library.morph.zone/How_to_Install_Directory_Opus_Magellan_II#Enabling_the_Archive_Browsing_with_XADopus
