Back on topic, if the question is what's the best solution for anyone, and we make the reasonable assumption that they are unlikely to be existing Amiga users, the answer has to be either UAE or the 500 mini. UAE has the benefit of zero initial outlay if you have a computer that can run it.

Playing Amiga games simply on a TV in the living room is great for the 'console gamer' market segment.
