I don't think anyone actually cares what cdimauro thinks. He spews technical data which is fine and he's allowed his opinions. However people are also allowed to ignore his opinions.

I never said I would ignore him. Actually I find him quite amusing when he gets his panties in a bunch. I don't value his opinion at all but man do I enjoy laughing at him.

As I said I asked both users and neither of them put a cent of value in your opinion.
Here you go you might need this.

I wonder if I should try to install AROS / Amiga Forever dual boot on the IBM laptop.
The laptop will not boot from USB drive - so the only option is really to install on HD.

[image...] I know Terminills well and I know Kalamatee is his friend, but you can’t see the wood for the trees.
“I’ve asked both users”
It’s self-deprecating because Terminills is part of the AROS project. It’s humorous because you believe he needs to ask all AROS users for their opinion before offering his opinion prefixed with “I think”. |
There was no reference to AROS users, and not even to those "both users" when he has written his sentence.
This clarified, yes: "I think" was hypothetical. Quote:
It can’t be a language problem because your English is excellent. |
Thanks, but I'm not a native speaker, and I make tons of mistakes when I write in English (also because I've no time read again, and fix the issues). Quote:
Therefore it’s a social communication problem. |
It's, definitely.

Irrelevant.
First, there was no reference to those users on your first statement. It was completely generic, and not even related to AROS.
Second, in one sentence you've shown two logical fallacies: the Argument from authority and the Ad Hominem attack.
But, as you've proven, logic is NOT your friend, so this is expected. Plus, you've a bias against me, and this justify your ridiculous attacks.
What counts are FACTs. And I've reported TONs of them. That's why your opinion, and of other people if they think the same, are irrelevant.
You can ask your big friend FACTs about his statements that SGX (and MPX) is useful for debugging multiprocessing code on AROS. I'm still waiting them since years... Quote:
Who am I if you want to continue showing how ridiculous you are? Go on...

That's a good option. With AROS your old laptop will be revitalized. |

Since i know nonefonow in person and seen its laptop i kinda agree beside the usual wireless card not supported problem :/ |
On my R40 there was a PCMCIA slot available: maybe a Wi-Fi card for it could be found, which is supported by AROS.

Well, if you have a limited vision it's not my problem.
Anyway, you're free to confute what I've said, eh! It should be very simple IF my opinions are valued not even a single cent.
In the meanwhile I'm still waiting to see how SGX (or MPX) could be used for better debugging multiprocessing in AROS... |

Why? You’re not working on AROS (or anything else for that matter) are you? Also, aren’t those gone or deprecated anyhow? How old is this quarrel?? _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

What's this, another logical fallacy? What's the purpose of those questions? Be clear. Quote:

They were disabled because of some issues with side-channel attacks (Spectre).
However it's not clear if Intel has officially stopping supporting them. Quote:
How old is this quarrel?? |
If you refer to this:
"I'm still waiting to see how SGX (or MPX) could be used for better debugging multiprocessing in AROS"
it lasted only a few days.
In fact, The Bunny preferred to close his account instead of proving his (ridiculous) claims. Which made sense, since they were so huge bullshits that it would have surely and furtherly compromised his image of "expert". |
