Maybe you should be using hosted version of AROS, instead of running it in a virtual machine. I think you might have something in windows installation, that’s taking up CPU power. what type CPU and hardware do you have?
I did quick read, as far as see hosted can only be done on Linux, but then again Windows does allow you to run Linux programs, you need X11 for Windows, maybe.

Not if that 1% achievement required labours greater than the potential benefits of the 100% outcome, or if the amount and duration of labour for 1% indicates a protracted timescale whereby reaching 100% would arrive well beyond the effective time window.
