I realize AWN these days is mostly debates about RISC-V and ARM and open-source and, well, whatever, but I thought I'd share that Entwickler-X has just released the AmigaOS version of M.A.C.E. Tower Defense from https://entwicklerx.itch.io/mace-tower-defense for just $5 (or whatever you think fair)! It requires Warp3D Nova and runs beautifully on my X5000.

If you like Swamp Defense or River Pirates, it's basically the same game with different graphics and a slight twist. Great to see Entwickler-X still supporting the Amiga community in 2022. Let's hope for more good news to come!

@eliyahu

Thank you for pointing this out! I just set my 8 yr old with an AmigaOne XE and he loves swamp defense 2. Going to buy a copy of this one asap.

I love thier games, super modern and amazing performance. All OS 4 owners should be supporting these team so we can get more of their work on OS 4.

Bill 'tekmage' Borsari

PS I bought thier titles for my PC and Android to keep them supported!!

@Rob: Right. We try to put more Time in AmigaOS again. If we find the time... And if we can get a solid performance without a compleate rebuild of a game (we have much more Objects and Polygons in our games since Spencer...).

M.A.C.E. TD is a first start... but from time to time Frank sends me some Videos and Images from his current work on other games ;) But we don´t want to publish something if we are not 100% shure if it runs at decent speed at least on high end Computers... So stay tuned, step by step we also will fill some DevLogs on itch.io developer blog.
