I purchased the game The Secret of Middle City a while back, without playing it to much. I decided to give it a go now.
I am currently at chapter 4, but here the progress stops.
I have been at all locations that I find access to, and went through all available dialogs so I find no more people to talk to. Tried give/use for every object in my inventory at every location in the game.
Here are some of the things I need to resolve to progress.
1. The big guard dog at the crime sceene will not let me pass. A clue told me to go to the Conner shop to get meat for it, but the Conner shop is not available to visit yet.
2. In order to talk to the headmaster Wilson I need to get a specific book, which I guess is the one in the church, held by a skeleton. Apearently I need a hatchet to get it, which I dont have yet.
3. There is a patch at the curtains in mr Daps' house. It says I need scissors to loosen it. I've seen a pair of scissors at the newspaper agent, but they are not available to pick up.
4. I am invited to visit the female police, Ellen. But in order to get there I guess I need to bring her something from the Chinease restaurant. I can barely enter the restaurant, but need to leave at once. I am told to bring something useful that is often lost.
5. In the wood, the fox hunter wants me to bring him the rifle from the bar. In the bar there is a rifle in the hands of the hunter statue, but I am told that I can't get it, now.
Anyone played this game and may share some hints? |
