Bit hard to do with family commitments and even an online speed awareness course to fit in!

I've got as far as downloading and installing it my Big Box 'miggy. I'll hopefully get a session on it with my son tomorrow after the course! One life or one level and swap rules as normal

@Karlos

Bless him, my son asked if we could play it on THEA500 Mini! Obviously he can but it's weird that the next generation are attached to the new Mini Consoles and the whole living room ease of use experience! We need to remember how important the ease of use factor is! The Amiga after all was plug and play and load a floppy and go a lot of the time! We've over complicated things with our upgrades and updated mechanical keyboards but the youngsters prefer an Arm emulation carousel environment with USB peripherals!

@Thread

Has anyone tried this on THEA500 Mini? I'm struggling to get the special PAL WHDLoad version to load!

Ok, read the guidance online and you have to update the WHDLoad Database file.

Where's it stored on your USB?
THEA500/whdboot/game-data/whdload_db

Add the contents of the xml file included in the game download THEA500 Mini Pal package after first /game comment and save. Use Windows and WordPad and not MacOS as the Mac hides the folders that you need.

@Thread

Everything is great on the Mini except the Save States seem buggy! When I try and save at the start of the second area (after first exit) it will take me back to the intro screen when I load back into it! Saving right at the start of the game does work though but is pointless except to get a fast start!

Has this happened to anyone else? Save states are one of the main reasons to play it on the Mini in the first place! Disappointing!

Since the thread has dried up here, may I point you to the English Amiga Board in order that people get the answers that they need if interested i.e. a level/world skip feature is included in Turrican 2 AGA!

EAB Turrican 2 AGA Thread - Level Skip Option
