This is comedy gold. Is this what they backers are paying for? Amiga related humor?

A Kickstarter offering nothing that the community isn't doing already with %35 of all donations lining the pockets of individuals doing less than what other parts of the community do for free, with the people behind the Kickstarter having the expectation that others will provide most of the content ?

Sign me up.
The Amiga scene is desperate for more people to con them.
There's not nearly enough places where we can waste our money already.

@Kronos

I mean I kinda agree with some others, there are community sites that do most of the stuff planed but and this is a BIG but, if you haven't got the bonus goodies I think it is worth it, as the books and films are pretty good and at the same time your hopefully backing a good website.

So maybe think about it differently and think you buying all the goodies and as a extra freebie your supporting hopefully a good website.

Full discloser however, is mainly because I have got the books and films already, Im waiting to see the website all up and running and see if anything come from it before I back it. But if I hadn't got 90% of the goodies I would of back it.

Also one thing I found odd is that way back at the Nwag meeting he said one of the reason he wanted to do this project was to get away from Kickstart fees and make a site for Amiga users to raise funds and get around that, so odd he using the system again.

@amigang

So it's all good because he includes digital copies of his previous grift (just another bunch of self complimentary books) ?

He was an average guy who know how to work C= shifting more low margin boxes then everyone else 30 years ago.

He was an hot air ballon 29 years ago.

He vanished.

He came back as a grifter.

Nothing more to be known bout this guy

@MarcioD

FYI -- we've been discussing this for some days now in the very large, pre-existing thread: https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic_id=44662&forum=2&start=540&viewmode=flat&order=0#861590
