SMB2-GUI AROS 64-bit v11

SMB2-GUI is now available for download to create, mount, and unmount DOSDrivers (SMB2).

SMB2-GUI is easy to use; once you’ve created a DOSDriver, it will be automatically saved to SYS:Storage/DOSDrivers.

To enable automatic mounting, simply copy SMB2-Start and its icon to WBstartup.

SMB2-Start is included in the archive, where you’ll also find the Readme in Amiga Guide Multilingual format.

Nice. But instead of having the user having to type in the share name,
once you have the ip address/hostname you can use smb2_share_enum_[a]sync()
and pull a list of all the shares from the server and then have a list dialog where the user can simply select the share.

@V8

Hi, just to clarify, I’m the creator of AROS One 32/64/68k, and I’m not a developer.
I was able to create this and other applications thanks to the collaboration of I.A.

I had already tried to do what you asked, but I.A. told me that AROS is missing some components needed to implement this feature, so I stopped. The source code for SMB2-GUI is available in the archive; if any developer is able to implement this great feature, they’re welcome to do so.
