A fellow classic Amiga owner wanted to join the game but he cannot connect to the server - he is using dial-up (modem) and Miami - any ideas what could be wrong in his setup?

| Guys, I wonder if anyone can help me out My AmigaOne keeps freezing on network style games - Chris_Y and I are playing LAN games and also things like Quakerold - all of a sudden, the machine just locks up and I have to reboot. Any ideas?
My settings are exactly the same as Chris' and yet his never locks up? Could it be the board/onboard network connection?

| Finally got Quakeworld running, as now have Roadshow configured properly. Booya!
I've had a couple of games on sun.hasenbraten.de:27500 against poweramiga, but come on guys - we need more targets!!
Also, does anyone know of any servers which are still popular among the rest of the QW community?
:edit I've done a search to locate some active servers, but have come up with nothing Last edited by amipal on 30-Jan-2005 at 05:01 PM.

I idle on hasenbraten all the time but I rarely meet anyone, I`m on every day in the evenings (I check regularly) 6-12 GMT if anyone wants to play me. You can PM meet time for 1v1 or anything I love quake :o)
