Time to format my desktop PC and get rid of Windows10, and replace it with the leanest, quickest, and coolest Linux distro, with it directly booting up AmiKit at startup, and running the couple of Windows only programs I use often through WINE and the Rabbit Hole feature included with AmiKitXE. For some reason, my Windows installation on my old but fast over-clocked i5 system, has become really slow running and booting, and I just have not been able to track down what is slowing everything down to get it back to normal. Perfect time to just wipe the drives and start over with something better and more enjoyable. If I don't like it, I can always go back to Windows10. I use my Ryzen5 + Nvidia 1080Ti laptop more these days anyway, so I'm not really risking much by getting rid of Windows10 on my desktop. The desktop has a Radeon RX580 video card, which I hope won't be too difficult to find a Linux driver for.

Anyone have suggestions for the best Linux distro to use to host my AmiKit system?

Guess I'll but this in a new thread, as this is not the right place to ask this question.

@amigadave

Use SSD boot drive with Windows 10.

I plan to install incoming SteamOS 3.0 for some of my older PCs that fail the Windows 11 TPM test.

SteamOS 3.0 is based on Arch Linux.
