Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : AmigaOS 3.2 in a RaspBerry Pi4 4Go
posted by Papiosaur on 14-Sep-2021 14:23:50 (2065 reads)
The new store www.amigang-store.com offers you a small ventilated box containing a RaspBerry Pi4B 4GB allowing to emulate an Amiga with a 68040 with 1GB of Fast memory. No need to connect a graphics card to have a resolution up to 1920*1024 in 16bits, no need for a network card to have internet with trasfert rate up to 1000Mbits/s. Compatible wireless keyboard, mouse and controller are also available in the store. If you buy AmigaOS 3.2 with the full package, you have a turnkey system that starts directly in the Workbench. You just have to press Power button. It's possible to have a configuration without AmigaOS 3.2 and dedicated exclusively for Amiga 500, 1200, CD32 and CDTV games (contact me for more informations).

Go on https://www.amigang-store.com.

Interesting

(just so people dont get confused with this being named amigang store, it has nothing to do with me.)

I have wonder if the fact I own the AmigaNG.com, AmigaNG Twitter Account, Youtube.com/AmigaNG account, AmigaNG Playstation User name, AmigaNG Stream Account, amiga.ng Instagram account, AmigaNG user accounts on pretty much all Amiga Forum, and used it since 1999, would that be worth anything, or could I even claim ownership of the name like Amiga-kit has (not that Im fussed but just interesting thought)

You could make "AmigaNG" the name and/or logo your trademark and may be able to get away with it if it is in a different category than the "Amiga" trademark. Trademarks need to be defended to retain them though which is work and can involve expense. It looks like your "AmigaNG" use would be in a news and publication category which I expect is not competing with "Amiga" as registered by Amiga Corporation and is similar to "Amiga Format" and "Amiga Addict" use (regardless of whether they are registered trademarks). Amiga stores like "Amigang(-store)" and "Amigakit" may be in a different category like computer merchandise which may be competing. Their use of the boing ball logo may also be a violation of a trademark.

Wikipedia is a good place to start to understand trademarks.

If you spell it AmiGang you could just say it's a gang of Amiga fans.

Thought Id check if Gateway / Amiga got the Domain name and just thought Id jump on it and start a site to cover the AmigaMCC.
