Is there a reason why there is no ppc binary built against glibc 2.2 this time?

Yes. I haven't built it yet.

Seriously, though . . . I've been forced to do some hard disk juggling recently to try and make space for all these different operating system I'm working with - and as a result the machine which was previously doing PPC/glibc2.2 and OS X builds is down at the moment. A normal service will be resuming shortly. In fact, I hope to have binaries for both available tomorrow . . .

I just want to say "thank you" to evilrich for all the work he's doing on UAE.
Thanks Richard!

I got Amiga UAE to boot Kickstart 1.3 inside WinUAE running OS3.5. The speed counter in Amiga UAE was 5%

Your guestimate of 16Kb of stack seems to be wrong. With "Stack 16384", it guru'd. However, with "Stack 1048576" it ran...

What makes you think it was a guess?

And what made you pick 1048576?

It works fine here with 16k of stack. It actually uses only about half that. There's no recursion and most data structures go on the heap rather than on the stack, so low stack usage is to be expected.

There is a bug in the floppy initialization in my Amiga version which I need to correct - which might possibly be causing your Guru. I'll try and get an updated binary out today . . .

Cheers,
Rich

Because I got a guru with 16kb of stack, but not with 1Mb.

Because I picked 1Mb as a "nice round figure" and being a programmer I then used a proper megabyte instead of 1000000
